CMI Management Book of the Year 2018 Competition
I am delighted to announce that my book ‘Star Quality Experience – The Hotelier’s Guide to Creating Memorable Guest Journeys‘ has been entered in to the CMI Management Book of the Year 2018 competition.
The Management Book of the Year 2018 competition is organised by the Chartered Management Institute in association with the British Library. It is sponsored by Henley Business School. The aim of the competition is to find the book that will have the potential to transform the effectiveness of working managers or equip students for future management roles.
The CMI Management Book of the Year 2018 competition has five categories:
New Manager
Practical Manager
Management Futures
Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Commuter’s Read
My book has been entered in to the Practical Manager category. In the opinion of the judges the winning book in this category will offer the best practical insights or guidance to help practising managers in their work or professional development.
As well as being very excited that my book has been entered in to this competition. This is yet another opportunity to showcase the hospitality industry. It will introduce others to our complex world of hotels. Particularly now that my book is available at The British Library, which is part of the entry criteria.
The judging panel are not from a hospitality background. They are comprised of management consultants and directors who have vast knowledge and expertise in both the private and public sector.
There is still a little wait for the results. The shortlist will be announced on the 3rd October 2017 and the winners announced in February 2018.
If you would like to get your copy of my book it is available on Amazon in paperback and kindle format. ‘Star Quality Experience – The Hotelier’s Guide to Creating Memorable Guest Journeys’ is an Amazon Best Seller for Hospitality, Travel and Tourism in Kindle format.
