EHAP – Elite Hospitality Assessment Professionals team

Umbrella Training held their Apprenticeship Graduation at The Chesterfield, Mayfair and celebrated not only the success of their Apprentices graduating but also of their team of End Point Assessors. Forming part of their EHAP – Elite Hospitality Assessment Professionals team, I was awarded my CAVA qualification alongside Adam Rowledge, Joanna Hutchison and Ben Purton.

What is CAVA?

CAVA is the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. It qualifies me to end point assess Hospitality Apprentices on the new standards. The Hospitality Apprenticeships new standards were introduced last year and apprentices that embarked on them are now ready to be assessed by an independent End Point Assessor to achieve their apprenticeship qualification.

Who are the EHAP – Elite Hospitality Assessment Professionals team?

EHAP – Elite Hospitality Assessment Professionals is the sister company to Umbrella Training and are a team of independent End Point Assessors that can be booked to assess Hospitality Apprentices. The team is made up of committed industry professionals who are managers and consultants. I assess the Hospitality Team Member, Supervisor and Manager apprenticeships.

Once the apprentice has been training for a minimum of a year in their workplace, and is deemed competent. They will be assessed by an independent End Point Assessor with an online multiple choice test, practical observation, business project and professional discussion.

The apprentice will then be graded and achieve a pass or distinction.
