Foodie Festival
This weekend the Foodie Festival is being held at Clapham Common and I attended it yesterday. There was lots to do and see, with food and drink stalls, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and music. Below are just a few of the highlights from the day:
This seller was promoting Honey Beer which they brew by using the honey collected from bee hives and they distribute this to independent hotels and restaurants – a great alternative.
Throughout the day there were various cooking demonstrations including this BBQ demonstration where the audience were shown how to make flat bread, lamb kebabs and chocolate pudding all on a BBQ.
There were lots of food vendors which included a hog roast or BBQ ribs.
For some added flavour for your culinary delights you could also purchase herbs to grow at home.
The MasterChef bus was parked up together with other street food vendors.
Other demonstrations included a Champagne Tasting.
And then when it got too hot there was a chance to relax at the pop up Riot Bar.
The foodie festival is at Clapham Common this weekend until Sunday 8th June 2014, and then it moves on to other various locations throughout the country. So do go along and sample some of the delights that are on offer
