This morning I had a meeting at Hospitality House in East Finchley and I was also given a tour of their facilities. This is a £1 million, state-of-the-art training and meeting facility dedicated to the hospitality industry’s employers, employees, learning providers and students, suppliers and professional bodies.
On the ground floor they have meeting and function rooms which can cater for a sit down dinner for 100 people and a bar and kitchen where trainees are taught the skills in their various disciplines. Whilst I was visiting the kitchen was in use with staff from Baxter Storey so I could not get a photo. They have top of their kitchen range equipment in there sponsored by various companies including Rational. The bar is fully stocked and also used for Cocktail Master Classes and Wine and Food pairing.
Upstairs they also have a cafe to train up baristas, a cellar and more meeting and training rooms.
The meeting and training rooms are all fully equipped with the most up to date technology including live video streaming.
This is a fantastic venue and is already being used regularly by Premier Inn, WholeFoods, South Barnet College and other leading hospitality employers.
