International Women’s Day 2024 with Boutique Hotelier
Friday 8th March was International Women’s Day 2024 and there was no better way to celebrate this than with Boutique Hotelier and at their brunch event with leading ladies in hospitality present, at Art’otel Battersea.
The event brought together 100 leading female hoteliers and professionals from across the country to network, share best practise and hear inspiring talks from women in the sector. Panelists that were interviewed by Zoey Monk from Boutique Hotelier were leading ladies Catherine Morris, managing director at Tradelinens, Fiona Moores, group operations director, The Pig Hotels, Tessa Gorman, managing director, Rosewood London and Fjona Hill, co-founder at Hampton Manor. There was also an employment law update on legislation due to come into force in April that will impact the whole sector, on flexible working and laws for carers, and information on new laws coming in effecting women, covering fertility treatment and neonatal leave. Insights were also heard from Natalie Campbell, CEO of Belu, on building an inclusive business.
It was wonderful to meet up with old acquaintances as well as making new connections at this event.

The Elegant Hotel Collection was one of the Networking Sponsors for the event and I was also supporting the event by providing copies of the 2nd edition of ‘Star Quality Hospitality – The Key to a Successful Hospitality Business’ to those in attendance as part of the goody bag.
On Sunday it was Mother’s Day and it was lovely to see that recipients of my book were having some ‘me’ time by reading my book.
